Our Primary School program, for children aged 3 through Kindergarten, gives young learners a welcoming place to begin discovering what they can do. With caring teachers, hands-on experiences and plenty of opportunities to try new things, our youngest students build the confidence, independence and curiosity that will carry them forward.

At Walker, students encounter STEM and other hands-on experiences alongside reading, writing, Spanish, the arts and character education. WHY WE ARE UNIQUE

The Primary School is full of exciting “firsts.” In addition to the core academic areas of reading, writing, math and social studies, students are exposed to a wide variety of co-curriculars, including Spanish, art, science, music and movement, library, guidance, and technology.

We place a heavy emphasis on independence, curiosity, collaboration, and creative and critical thinking skills while also focusing on what makes each individual student unique.
